Essex County Council
We’ve worked with Essex County Council, specifically their environmental agency Place Services, for a number of years developing websites for various projects, most notably the Essex Design Guide and Legacy Grazing.
For over 50 years, the Essex Design Guide has been the key reference for town planners, urban designers and developers to create distinctive places that people want to live in. Since its first published iteration in 1973, the EDG has gained both national and international recognition and remains required reading for those responsible for designing new communities.
Following updates in 1997 and 2005, Frontmedia were asked by Essex County Council to bring the Guide online in 2018 making it a far more accessible resource for designers, planners and architects.
Legacy Grazing is a pioneering project that provides management and advisory services to many of the region's finest wildlife sites. We developed a website that showcases their bespoke service to sites where grazing is required to help conserve wildlife, historic or landscape interest.
